LET’S TALK ABOUT DALIP SINGH SAUND (U.S. Congressman, CA – 1957-1963)

BRING THE STORY OF SAUND’S LIFE & LEGACY TO YOUR ORGANIZATION

Parallel to working on the production of this film, we’re taking Saund’s story on a national “Story-to-Film” tour to raise awareness of Saund’s journey to Congress 70 years ago.

Here’s a sample event description: You are invited to learn the incredible true story of Dalip Singh Saund, a California farmer and local judge of Indian descent who ran for Congress and won – 70 years ago. Please join BAFTA and Emmy-nominated filmmaker Mridu Chandra for a presentation on Saund’s life story followed by a discussion about how she is turning three years of research on this overlooked chapter of American history into a documentary film.

Please contact us at info@saundvscochran.com if you’d like to organize a presentation for your corporation, organization, or friends circle.

Here are some photos of past events that showcase how broad & diverse the audience is for Saund’s story!
